HUG was exhibited on the Alpha Lifecare stand at the IDC24 Conference exhibition in Sydney and hugs and smiles abounded!
On September 5th Prof Cathy Treadaway and Dr Jac Fennell presented the research behind HUG at the IDC24 conference in a session called ‘Responding to changing behaviours’. Their presentation: Designing HUGs: therapeutic comforters to reduce anxiety and bring joy’ focused on the academic research behind HUG. Conference attendees were able to experience HUGs for themselves at the Alpha Lifecare stand in the exhibition.
